Baby Blues Contest

When it comes to something as special as winning an autographed Baby Blues collection, I take it very seriously. The contest (shown here) was to count all the pumpkins that Rick Kirkman drew in the cartoon. Well, like I said, I take this seriously, so I didn't just rely on my eyes and pointer fingers. No, I grabbed my Wacom tablet and made sure to dot every single pumpkin as I counted them.  I counted 389 pumpkins. Wish me luck in the contest!

UPDATE 5/8/21: I didn't win, but I did meet Rick at a function and he was aware of me being the guy who used a Wacom to try and win the contest. That felt like even more of a victory, honestly.

A Comic About Selfies and Shark Attacks

I often have cartoons that appear there and on UBM Future Cities. Here is a full list of cartoons that you may have missed because they were on websites other than this blog: CLICK

A Comic About The Mona Lisa and Undo

Due to either a brain fart or an embarrassing lack of art knowledge, I accidentally drew Michelangelo in my first draft of this cartoon instead of Leonardo:

A Sic Halloween

This is a house on my street. I hear he hands out Sniqers, Butterfinkers, and Three Muskytears. The worst part is, he has done this two years in a row. That's funny as Hel.

17th Radish #2

I have just started experimenting with abstract ideas and different brushes and I wanted others to see what I am up to. Don't worry, I'm still popping out lots of toons, just having fun with this new style I've discovered.

17th Radish #1

Recently, bizarre ideas have found their way into my 'cartooning ideas' notebook. They are a bit random (and often not really humorous), but nonetheless, something drives me to take them from the notebook and actually draw them out.

They certainly aren't Rogue Symmetry material, so I've decided to draw them under the name, 17th Radish (big points to you if you know this reference!). So, here is the first one. I don't quite know why I was compelled to draw it. I don't even know what it means! Maybe it is the beginning of a new stage in my drawing? Or maybe I'm just losing my mind. Either way, I'm enjoying the ride!

A Comic About Chinese Spelling Bees

I have spent a lot of time re-drawing some of my older cartoons.
This cartoon was originally drawn in 2011. The one below that was drawn on September 18th, 2013. I think I am making good progress in my effort to learn how to draw better. What do you think? Better? Worse? Comments?
